Game2Growth is a private company within the Serious Games Institute, Coventry University Technology Park, specializing in the design and development of Serious Games for the Training, Marketing and Non Profit sectors.

G2G takes care of the whole project, from analysis of the user’s needs through the study of the methodology and of the underlying model to the creation of the personalized Serious Game that best fits the needs of the customer.

Next 25th,26th and 27th May 2011, the Politecnico of Milan and University of Milan - Bicocca
will host the conference 'SGEED - Serious Games, Education & Economic Development' organized within the LUDUS project.

LUDUS starts May 25th at 5.00 pm at the University Bicocca with the Round Table 'The Challenge of Serious Games: research, applications and future prospects' and continues on 26th and 27th May at the Milan Polytechnic.

Two sessions are scheduled on both days:

  • on 26th morning it will be allowed some latitude to the conference 'The Serious Games as a training tool:comparing experiences between academia and the corporate world';
  • in the afternoon it will be the time of the first workshop, 'Training on intercultural dialogue: a simulation of adaptive approach within the European project ImREAL', organized among others by imaginary;
  • on 27th morning METID organizes the workshop 'LUDUS Second Competition'; after a brief presentation of the initiative, we will proceed with the award ceremony;
  • the afternoon workshop entitled 'Serious Games for reflective learning within the European project MIRROR', organized by imaginary, Trondheim University, Rule and University of Milan-Bicocca, will close the Conference.

The MEDEA Awards 2011 will be incorporated into a Conference entitled "Media & Learning: Harnessing the power of Media to support Learning", which will be held in Brussels on 24 to 25 November 2011. This conference is organized by ATiT together with the Flemish MEDEA AwardsMinistry of Education and Training, and the European Commission Directorate-General for Education and Culture. The conference brings together practitioners and policy makers in a two-day event which will highlight the latest developments, services and digital and media competences in education and training. The MEDEA Awards Ceremony will take place during this conference.
The aim of the MEDEA Awards is to encourage innovation and good practice in the use of media (audio, video, graphics and animation) in education. The awards also recognise and promote excellence in the production and pedagogical design of media-rich learning resources.
